Cokran is community-owned cacao estate in Ransiki, West Papua, Indonesia. Managed by a cooperative of local shareholders, their farm is reshaping what ethical, impact-driven cacao sourcing can look like.

Origins:

  • Ransiki, West Papua, Indonesia

  • Anaimalai, Tamil Nadu, India

  • Kokoa Kamili, Mbingu, Tanzania

High in antioxidants, nutrients, and the naturally gentle stimulant, Theobromine.


Preparation:

Prepare as pour-over in a 1:16 ratio or in a French Press in a 1:18 ratio

Pour over: 50 grams (~1/2 cup) cacao grounds to 800 grams of water (~28 oz).
French press: 50 grams (~1/2 cup) cacao grounds to 900 grams of water (~32 oz).


Misc:

Caffeinated option imbued with guarana extract available.
