“United to Rise” –
A New Standard in Community-Grown Cacao
“Supplying premium quality cacao, empowering communities, and nurturing biodiversity through regenerative farming on 2,000 hectares under a 100-year lease.”
A synopsis of Kakao Raya’s sourcing partners, Ebier Suth Cokran.

What makes our partners shine?
-
100% of profits are reinvested into green businesses and community growth, supporting the global green economy (See our LinkedIn page for more on how indigenous populations are our greatest climate and biodiversity champions).
-
200 hectares actively farmed, 800 hectares reserved for conservation, and a potential 1,200 more hectares committed to regenerative farming and carbon capture.

A biodiversity hub—Indonesian Papua is the third largest rainforest-swathed land in the world, preceded only by the Amazon and Congo. Indonesia is the second most biodiverse country in the world, with Indonesia Papua harboring a whopping half of the country’s total biodiversity. Indonesia Papua’s 35 million hectares of forests remove around 52 million tons of carbon dioxide annually, an equivalent to Singapore’s carbon output in 2022. The more cacao we sell, the more Cokran can do to sustain one of the richest centers of biodiversity globally.
Did we mention chocolate made with their cacao has won awards throughout North America, Europe, and Asia?
